The Presidential Suite - Hyatt Regency Bangkok’s most exclusive accommodation occupies prime real estate on the hotel’s 28th floor. From its sky-high perch, windows give way to expansive views of the city skyline. Beyond the floor-to-ceiling glass, a terrace wraps the exterior of the suite, complete with a plush daybed. In the bathroom, a freestanding tub positioned perfectly by the window makes as much of the view as possible. The 2,249-square-foot space (209-square-meters) cultivates an ambiance inspired by Thailand’s ancient capitals and the national religion. The variants of gold in the decorative pillows, in the lighting and the carpet motifs echo the gradients of gold often seen on Thai Buddha hand sculptures. The polished wooden floors are a nod to ancient Thai temples carved from wood. Artist Ajarn Thanakrit Thipwaree conjured up the artwork depicting traditional Thai life, which is in the dining area and office space. A love-themed sculpture by renowned Thai National Artist, Ajarn Nontiwat Jantanapalin,is on prominent display, as are other Thai objects and antiques, anchoring this presidential suite very much in Thailand.
